The story goes that Lu Xinliu toppled over from atop the chair falling face forward over the balcony wall four stories above the earth.
Doing a complete mid-air flip she landed and bounced on the cloth awning in a seated position with legs straight out.
Physics caused Xinliu to gain upward momentum before she landed (in the same seated position, mind you) solidly on the unyielding Earth compressing her spine and shattering her ankles.
