Since 2023, the Lord has been placing a very specific mission on my heart — one I didn’t anticipate, but one I couldn’t turn away from. Yet the roots of this calling reach back to the fall of 2013, when I was teaching at Pei Zheng College in Guǎngzhōu, China. What began as a quiet stirring in that season became, ten years later, a clear assignment. Out of that long arc of obedience, a mini‑series emerged: English Corner.
It is my mission and my testimony in story form — a witness to God’s faithfulness, His nearness in unfamiliar places, and the quiet transformation I saw unfold as His Kingdom advanced in ways only He could orchestrate.
Every scene, every moment, every character carries echoes of what He did there — in their lives and in mine. What began as a simple act of obedience has grown into a short film, a way to honor the God who met me in that classroom in the autumn of 2013, who moved through those conversations, and who continues writing the story with the prayers that the film will be made into a limited series.
This is the mission He has entrusted to me, and I carry it so that He alone receives the glory.
