Humility is Difficult Sometimes

Matthew Terry lives in Zhījiāgē (Chicago) with his lovely wife Ming Chu Pearl Terry. Both are active members of Moody Church. In his spare time, he enjoys jogging, traveling to Xiāng Gǎng (Hong Kong) and Fēi lǜ bins (Philippines) with Pearl, and of course writing.

Matthew has written four full-length feature screenplays, three short story animations, one mini-series, his memoir, and wrote and directed a short story animation dedicated to his 88-year-old father called “Children of God (The Last Remaining Sibling). It garnered several awards including Best Animation, Canadian International Film Festival.

Although Matthew continues to stay in contact with many of his students at Pei Zheng College via Wēi Xin (WeChat), he abhors social media so don’t bother trying to find him out there on internet-land. However, if you bump into them at Moody Church, say “nǐ hǎo”.
